This privacy policy explains how the iptvXS app and the iptvXS Gateway handle information. iptvXS is an IPTV viewer that can connect to IPTV providers, Google Drive, subtitle services, and update services chosen by the user.
Information stored locally by the app
The app may store the following data locally on your device:
- IPTV server entries, URLs, and connection settings
- Favorites, groups, watch history, and playback history
- EPG source URLs and cached guide data
- Recording metadata and recording files you create
- App preferences and configuration settings
- Local log files for troubleshooting
- Google Drive access and refresh tokens if you enable Google Drive integration
Data processed by the gateway
The gateway may process the following information when you use the app or the website:
- Request metadata such as IP address, user-agent, path, and referer for access logs
- Update-check requests for version and appcast endpoints
- OAuth requests if you use Google Drive features
- Playlist, EPG, logo, and stream proxy requests made through the gateway
How the information is used
We use this information only to:
- Run the app and gateway services
- Connect to IPTV services and play content
- Save preferences, history, favorites, and recordings
- Authenticate Google Drive integration
- Fetch updates, EPG data, logos, and subtitles
- Diagnose problems and improve reliability
Sharing
We do not sell your data. The app only sends information to third-party services that you choose to use, such as your IPTV provider, Google, OpenSubtitles, or update services. The gateway also keeps local access and error logs for operational purposes.
Retention
Most app data stays on your device until you remove it, log out, or uninstall the app. Gateway logs are rotated and retained for a limited period for maintenance and security.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the app and gateway data, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices
You can control the data by:
- Removing servers, history, favorites, logs, or recordings
- Logging out of Google Drive
- Stopping use of optional third-party features
- Uninstalling the app
Children
iptvXS is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
